On 16 March 2026, a team from GIZ visited Syangja to observe the Smart Sprayer system in real field conditions. The visit followed earlier discussions in Kathmandu, where interest was expressed in exploring potential collaboration for future project phases.

The CRRC team accompanied the GIZ representatives to the field and demonstrated how the Smart Sprayer operates, along with the working mechanism of the solar pump system. The visitors were able to see the technology in practice and better understand its application in terrace-based farming systems.

During the visit, the GIZ team interacted with local farmers and discussed their experiences using the sprayer. They also explored the types of crops suitable for this irrigation method and observed cole crops growing in the field. These interactions provided valuable insights into the practical benefits and challenges of the technology.

The visit aimed to showcase the Smart Sprayer as a potential solution for future pilot projects. The GIZ team shared that they would further explore possible opportunities and inform the CRRC team if relevant projects arise. The visit also fulfilled a prior commitment by Mr. Kalyan Gauli, who had expressed interest in conducting a field visit during earlier meetings in Kathmandu.
