Training on Cole crops cultivation conducted in Bheerkot

The Climate Resilience Research Center (CRRC) conducted a farmer training on cole crops cultivation and management on March 13, 2026 in Bheerkot-5, Pakan, with the participation of around 20 local farmers. The training aimed to strengthen farmers’ knowledge and improve practices for better production of cole crops such as cauliflower and cabbage.

During the session, the CRRC team covered key aspects of cole crop farming, including suitable climate and soil conditions, recommended varieties, nursery and field management practices, and the identification and management of major diseases, insects, pests, and physiological disorders. The training was designed to be practical and relevant to local farming conditions.

The session was highly interactive, with farmers actively sharing their experiences, challenges, and local practices. These discussions created a space for mutual learning and helped connect technical knowledge with real field situations.

CRRC continues to engage with farming communities through such training, aiming to support smallholder farmers with the knowledge and skills needed for improved and sustainable agricultural production.
