Nature Based Solutions

At CRRC, we work to design, test, and scale nature‑based solutions (NbS) through community‑driven, context‑specific approaches. We support local partners in restoring ecosystems, integrating green infrastructure, and strengthening natural resource management as practical pathways to resilience.

Our team collaborates with local and regional governments, private sector, NGOs, and user communities to co‑develop NbS plans, embed them in policy and land‑use planning, and ensure they benefit vulnerable and marginalized groups. Through field research, participatory design, and capacity‑building, we help stakeholders apply ecosystem‑based approaches that reduce climate risks, enhance biodiversity, and improve livelihoods.

We focus on turning evidence into action—piloting NbS on the ground, generating locally relevant knowledge, and supporting long‑term adoption through training, partnerships, and advocacy.
